Research interests:

Causes of participant aggression in competitive sports and the educational efforts beneficial to modifying aggressive behavior. Motivations for participating in recreational sports activities and the long term benefits for students who were active in recreational sports activities during their undergraduate education experience.

Professional activities:

Memberships in the Michigan Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, Industrial Recreational Association, Athletic Business, and National Association of Sports Officials. Professional presentations at Michigan and National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association annual conferences, the Big Ten Recreational Sports Association, and Athletic Business. Publications in the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association Journal, Athletic Business Journal, and Athletic Management.

Service awards recognition from the Michigan Special Olympics, Michigan Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, and Michigan 4-H.
